Thousands of fans from 172 countries record messages about the issues that affect them and what they want politicians to change.
One Direction have asked their millions of
fans to tell world leaders what they want to see changed to make the
world a better place.
The British boyband have premiered a film called Dear World
Leaders for action/1D, which is a montage of hundreds of their fans
describing a world they want to live in.The group wants the three-minute video to be shared on social media and it will be broadcast at their remaining On The Road Again tour concerts.
Harry Styles said: "We've been overwhelmed by the fans' response to action/1D. They continue to amaze us with their passion and dedication, and this film goes to show how engaged they are in the issues that affect them.
"It's been inspiring to see and hear what matters to them and the world they want to live in."
In the video, fans from across the globe address presidents and prime ministers.
One Direction became a four-piece in March
Another says she wants a world which respects rights "such as women's rights, or gay rights or last slice of pizza rights".
More than 80,000 Directioners from 172 countries submitted photos and videos for the campaign.
Niall Horan said: "We've had fans from all over the world tell us what matters to them, from equal rights for all to the eradication of poverty, I really hope world leaders take notice of what we and our fans are saying.
"Hillary Clinton tweeted us her support of action/1D last month - I'm hoping President Obama watches it next!"
Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson also appear in the video. The group have become a four-piece after Zayn Malik left in March.

Margherita Watt, director of creative and digital at Save the Children, part of action/2015, said: "One Direction has done an incredible thing by mobilising their huge fanbase to speak up about the issues that really matter to them in this momentous year.
"We hope that by speaking out together, their voices will be heard and in a way that world leaders cannot ignore. This is the generation that has the power to tackle the most important issues of our time and change the world for better."
Last week One Direction confirmed they will be taking a break next year but have insisted they are not breaking up.
